ANSI Menus
Step into the world of custom BBS artwork.
ANSI art is a computer art form that was widely used on bulletin board systems. Similar to ASCII art, it is built from the 256 letters, numbers and symbols found in IBM code page 437, often called extended ASCII.
ANSI menus are the heart and soul of a BBS system and help create a theme or environment for its users. More than 60 custom ANSI screens were used in the development of The ROCK BBS. Most were created for The ROCK by ANSI artist Luciano Ayers of Blocktronics.
